RoofSmith of Tampa Bay, we recently helped a homeowner that was experiencing unusually high temperature levels in their attic space. This was a new home and the builder had installed the bare minimum code required ventilation required. Due to the configuration of the home and vaulted ceilings in the main area of the home, there was little chance the ventilation installed was ever going to function properly. We installed two Attic Breeze Solar powered attic fans and removed the off-ridge vents that were installed (a step frequently overlooked when power fans are installed).
